Staircase with new Newels and balusters. Oak rail stained to match floor. Old fir treads were also stained to match the floor and risers were painted white.

An old staircase revitalized: The old carpeted stairs were given new life, by refinishing the doug fir treads and replacing metal railings with traditional Newel Post and Baluster railings and Oak handrails.
New Entry door
The mid century modern double doors were replaced with a single 3 lite craftsman type door. Oil rubbed bronze hardware by Emtec. color consulting provided by Amy Castagna
Compact Laundry room
With little space to spare they used side by side Samsung units topped with a ceasarstone counter top work area and custom upper cabinets.
Living room with a gas fireplace unit framed with tumbled Mexican Limestone
The new gas fireplace is framed with tumbled Mexican Limestone, and trimmed with a custom wood mantle piece. Windows were ganged and trimmed as a single unit. Custom crown, matches kitchen crown.
