Sonoma Wine country Log Home Re invention!
The Log home was choked by interior walls and poorly located kitchen. The less is more principal produced a 50 plus foot great room that combines kitchen, dining and living rooms. Added re purposed skylights produce a brighter space. Brown logs are now gloss white, reflecting light and making the rooms bright and clean.
Master Bath
Salvaged doug fir (1x12) boards from 1920 were used to panel the bathroom walls.
Old fashioned barn door hardware is used in lieu of pocket doors. Counters are Quartz Pebble with three inch mitered edge.

Large Shower
Large Shower stall with rain head and body jets. Hardware is by Rohl. 5 1/2" Cedar Boards provide a spa like secondary floor for the shower pan.
KITCHEN
Sub Zero appliances, 48" Wolf Range and hood, Large Island is ten foot plus. Counters are Quartz pebble with 3" square edge. Lights are all controlled via the Radio RA system which utilizes pre programmed scenes and the ability to make changes from an iphone.
Great Room
Floors are a 9/16" x 9 1/4" Douglas Fir milled and Re-purposed from silos in the mid west. The wood is about 80 years old, it has tons of character! Nails old holes were left in their natural state. A monocoat f
